Estates Facilities Manager

We are looking for an Estates Facilities Manager with SC & ideally experience of the MoD/DIO/Defence sector.

Job description:
The DIO has the responsibility for the management of property, infrastructure and related services to ensure strategic management of the Defence Estate, optimising investment and, critically supporting military capability to the best effect. DIO Regional Delivery South West Region manages the delivery of the DIO contracted services, and where appropriate in-house, TFM and associated services to military users. This includes contract management and key relationship management with senior users, key suppliers and other elements of DIO Operation to support Military Capability.

This Estate Facility Managers primary role will be to work with the DIO site teams, regional programming teams and the Supply Chain to prioritise, chase, review, validate and progress through the DIO approval process. In addition, and where appropriate this will involve undertaking a VFM assessment and providing assurance that works meet MoD Commercial requirements for injection into the SW NGEC contract

Other duties may include working in partnership with the Industry Partner and other agencies to deliver five key tasks, these are to provide assurance of service delivery and statutory compliance of the estate, provide key stakeholder engagement and feedback on industry partners delivery, performance management to ensure that the industry partner is providing the correct level of service against agreed indicators, issue resolution to ensure that site based delivery issues are resolved

It is important that applicants are able to travel to sites across the SW region to provide support where required. It is expected that the posts will be based Chivenor but will be required to travel.

As well as the specific experience required above you will have the necessary qualifications, skills & experience of an Estates Facilities Manager to take control of this requirement from its inception to its completion.
