inferior quality operatives, a poor understanding of the industry and a below par service.
For example, our standard service is based around the principles of “Getting it right first time”:
- EVERY operative interviewed face to face by our team – an ex-Laing O Rourke project manager and a
qualified tradesmen work for Number 8 and properly vet all candidates - Qualifications/CSCS/CPCS all checked (naturally 100% of our candidates supplied will have CSCScard as a minimum)
- A pre-site induction undertaken with EVERY operative at the interview stage
- Each operative comes with their own public liability insurance
- Ongoing assessment programme to gauge the quality of ALL labour supplied.
We only take on assignments if we can genuinely tick all of the boxes above. With most of us having been
in your shoes, we know all too well the frustrations of labour suppliers over promising and, ultimately, under
delivering. Not to mention the added cost delays when the wrong operatives turn up.
As we deliberately operate with a small team ethos (this enables us to offer a personal service that’s
second to none) we can focus on getting the basics right. We have access to quality, self employed sub
contractors and our technology ensures we can normally mobilise teams or individuals relatively quickly.
